Arcana AI - Facebook Data Deletion Instructions

This document provides instructions for users who have logged into the Arcana AI mobile application using their Facebook account and wish to request the deletion of their associated data from our systems.

How to Request Data Deletion

To request the deletion of your Arcana AI account data linked to your Facebook login, please follow these steps carefully:

  1. Compose an Email: Draft a new email message.
  2. Recipient: Send the email to userdata@myarcana.app.
  3. Sender Address: You must send this email from the exact email address associated with the Facebook profile you use to log in to Arcana AI. This is crucial for verifying your identity and ensuring we delete the correct data. Requests sent from different email addresses cannot be processed for security reasons.
  4. Subject Line: Please use the following subject line to help us process your request efficiently: Subject: Data Deletion Request - Arcana AI (Facebook Login)
  5. Email Body: In the body of your email, please clearly state your request and include the following information:
    • Your Full Name: As it appears on your Facebook profile.
    • Your Email Address: The email address associated with your Facebook profile (confirming the address you are sending from).
    • Clear Statement: A clear statement requesting the deletion of your data associated with your Facebook login for the Arcana AI app. For example: “I request the deletion of all my personal data associated with my Facebook account used for the Arcana AI app.”

What Happens Next

  1. Verification: Upon receiving your email, we will verify that it was sent from the email address associated with an Arcana AI account linked via Facebook Login.
  2. Processing: Once verified, we will initiate the data deletion process. We aim to process valid requests within 30 days of receipt.
  3. Deletion Scope: This process involves the permanent deletion of all personal data we hold that is associated with your Facebook Login identity within the Arcana AI application. This includes your user profile information obtained from Facebook (subject to Facebook’s policies), your reading history (if stored and linked), and any other identifiable data linked specifically to your Facebook account within our app systems.
  4. Confirmation: You will receive an email confirmation sent to the requesting email address once the deletion process is complete.
  5. Consequences: Please be aware that deleting your data is permanent and irreversible. You will lose access to your Arcana AI account associated with this Facebook login, including any saved readings or premium features (if applicable). If you wish to use Arcana AI again in the future, you will need to create a new account.
